Drawing air from two locations, the Volant Diesel Intake adds more power, efficiency and torque to your diesel engine. All Volant Diesel Intakes come with their new Primo Filter with ProGuard 7 Technology with high grade X-Link polyethylene material. It features a polished aluminum lid, silicone sleeve, and marine-grade clamps. It bolts in factory positions and comes ready to install.

About Volant

Not all intake and exhaust systems are the same and savvy customers know which ones make more power than others. This is why Volant Cool Air Intakes and Exhaust Systems are extremely popular with customers who know. What's the difference? Volant Cool Air Intakes take a different approach to making power. Volant seals conical, high-flow air filter in a box that has more air volume than factory units. This process also eliminates any chance of hot air from contaminating the intake charge to the engine.

Other intakes use shields to block hot air but not all of it is eliminated. With the hood closed and the engine at normal operating temperatures, open element systems do not ingest hot-engine heat. In fact, recent tests have shown that some electric fans actually blow hot air into the intake on those systems using a heat shield. Any time air intake temperatures begin to read 100 degrees and higher, the engine's ECM begins to take away ignition timing and power is dramatically reduced.

		Diesel Pre-Filter Air Filter by Volant Volant Pre-Filters are factory treated using a proprietary hydrophobic process and are manufactured from the same durable polyester material as their race proven regular style. This unique material contains uniform micron openings that will filter out debris .005 or larger. This pre-filter will prevent splashes of water, mud and sand from saturating your air filter. 		Filter Recharger Kit by Volant Air flow test have proven that cotton-gauze filters flow much more air than paper element filters do. However, when they get dirty, they can clog up and limit air flow. This is one reason why you should clean your air filter with Volant's filter cleaner kit. The kit contains Volant's filter cleaner that loosens and removes dirt trapping capabilities. Volant's filter oil contains a blue dye to easily see where the oil has saturated into the filter, eliminating the common mistake of over oiling the filter.
