PIAA bulbs combine Super White technology with a high power XTRA halogen bulb for increased performance. This allows the bulb to emit a beam of light that is whiter and brighter than standard bulbs of the same style while using less amperage. PIAA Super White bulbs approach the brightness and intensity of HID lamps at a fraction of the cost. They are SAE approved, tested, and certified to comply with SAE standards for white color. The new Platinum 9000 Series Super Whites are also DOT approved and 100 percent road legal in all 50 states and Canada. This is an easy do-it-yourself upgrade. This means no additional wiring harness or relays. Just remove the factory bulbs and plug in the new PIAA Super White bulbs. .
