The DynaSport Roof Rack feature a user-friendly unlimited crossbar adjustment. Unlike many "OE" or aftermarket roof racks, the DynaSport crossbar adjustment system allows quick positioning of both crossbars to precisely fit load dimensions. The functional and durable crossbars and side rails are designed for years of rugged multi-purpose use. They are made of high strength tempered aluminum extrusions with a durable finish and UV stabilized molded components. The DynaSport Roof Rack is adaptable to roof contours and provide a unique crossbar connection system which allows the side rails to pivot, matching the vehicle roof contours for easy installation and crossbar adjustments. The DynaSport Roof Rack is installer-friendly for easy installation with pre-drilled components, self-sealing stainless steel tapping screws and self-adhesive roof slat (3M Tape) for quick "no hassle" installation. DynaSport Roof Racks can handle a 75-pound load capacity evenly distributed on the crossbar assemblies. Roof rack load capacity is stated as "static" load weight. Static load is defined as stationary, non-moving load weight. Load "inertia" created by a vehicle moving at normal operating speeds over dips, bumps, curves, etc. on the roadway can cause the stationary load weight being carried on the crossbars to more than triple. For example, a 50 pound static load on the crossbars can increase to 150-200 pounds or more during normal vehicle operation. Depending on your vehicle, the style of rack chosen and your level of mechanical ability, most aftermarket roof racks can be installed in about an hour. Great for luggage, skis, bikes and other general cargo. Perrycraft offers special Fiberglass Mounting Kits for bolt-through installation on Fiberglass or Composite material Truck caps. These kits are sold separately with the roof rack and come complete with stainless steel fasteners, all necessary seals (gaskets), molded plastic screw covers for the interior (don't want a customer's head hitting a screw sticking through to the inside!), and detailed installation instructions.
