With one to three inches of coverage depending on make and model, Extend-A-Fender flares give you added protection from the elements, and an exciting look at the same time! Extend-A-Fenders are made from DuraFlex, which is a custom blend of high-impact thermoplastics. DuraFlex offers strength and rigidity to help maintain shape in the harshest conditions. They have a limited lifetime warranty. Extend-a-Fenders are sold in sets of 2 or four. They come to you with a matte black finish that can be painted to match your vehicle.

It all happened in 1967. A friend asked Jerry to use his expertise as a plastics engineer to design something that would keep the mud off his Ford Bronco. Jerry went to work in his garage, came up with a design and had a plastics fabricator produce his creation. He installed the fender flares on his friend's vehicle - and when off-road enthusiasts saw the results, an industry was born! Over the past 30 years, Bushwacker has remained the industry leader. The company holds a number of mechanical and design patents and has also developed new, resilient materials including their Dura�Flex� thermoplastic. Today, fender flares for off-road vehicles account for only a portion of Bushwacker's sales.
