This product will not work with late model "electronic" ignitions. That is, your vehicle must use a "distributor" style ignition system...i.e., if you have a distributor cap, you have a distributor. Ask your mechanic if you are unsure.

The MSD 5 installs to most domestic and foreign vehicles and can be triggered using points or the electronic amplifier. Plus, it is CARB approved for use in all states with E.O. D-40-19!
